Providing highly skilled, licensed, union electricians for local contractors in Calhoun, Branch,  and parts of Barry and Eaton Counties while supporting working families with competitive wages and benefits made possible by the solidarity of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

In the Hall:

Business Manager: Steve Claywell

Business Rep: Lance Dougherty

Food Pantry:

In the spirit of Brotherhood, retirees Chris Tramel and Rex McAdow started a food pantry to provide assistance for out-of-work members of Local 445.  The food pantry is supported by monetary and food donations from members as well as member-supported fundraisers.

Brothers Tramel and McAdow volunteer their time to manage the food pantry funds and inventory.

The food pantry is available to all out-of-work members of IBEW Local 445 during regular hours and anytime the hall is open for meetings and special events.

Monetary donations to support the food pantry can be made by cash or check.  If you choose to mail  a donation to the food pantry, please write "Food Pantry" on the memo line so we credit the correct account.

Food donations can be dropped off at the hall Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m.

Thank you Chris and Rex for keeping the food pantry stocked and open, and thank you to the Brothers and Sisters who have donated funds and food.

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, or "IBEW," was founded in 1891 by Henry Miller. The IBEW is an organization run by the members, and for the members, with a clear record of dedication to the basic principles of organized labor. It is the largest, strongest, and oldest union devoted exclusively to electrical workers.

The IBEW is affiliated with the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations "AFL-CIO," giving us the combined strength of over 14 million workers. There are 750,000 members of the IBEW in over 1,100 local unions. Over 75,000 of these members are women.

IBEW local unions are located in all 50 of the United States, as well as in Canada, and Panama.

International Office headquarters are in located inWashington, DC. with field offices throughout the United States and Canada.
